Gastone Rinaldi for RIMA Black Leather Sabrina Dining Chairs, 1970s, Set of 4
RIMA was founded in 1920, specialising in manufacturing metal furniture and Gastone Rinaldi took over the company from his father in 1948 becoming the designer.
Many of his designs remain iconic pieces today including the Sabrina chairs from the 1970s. Constructed from a chrome tubular steel frame, with a cantilever base and metal seat, the Sabrina dining chairs have a futuristic and industrial aesthetic.
Black leatherette upholstered pads cover the metal seat and backrests to create a comfortable cushion, finished with a chrome plaque detail.
A fantastic example of 1970s Italian design, this set of Sabrina chairs would make the perfect addition to any dining room or kitchen table.
